Expats, if ever you’re feeling homesick, head over to Beer Hall for a wholesome American-style bar. With its large open space and shared tables, there is a welcoming air here.
And, as its name suggests, there is plenty of beer – and plenty of choice. However, it’s best to have a couple of options in mind. Last time we went for a brew, none of my choices were available. Sad, but there plenty of other choices. Also, if you want to try something new, this will definitely be the place. But, best to do your research before you get there – the bartender serving us was not completely able to direct us to any specific beer, nor was he able to describe any of the beers to us. (That may have been just that bartender, though..there were many others.)
As far as food is concerned, you’ll have the choice between a number of stalls: tacos, burgers, fries and more great American bar-food. We suggest the burgers – you can choose from a number of different kinds or for those who just want to munch, opt for the sliders.
Needless to say, Beer Hall is great for a light-hearted and fun evening.
